Description
This Valkyrie Angel was designed for tshirts that was sent to Afghanistan for our troops. A Seargent friend of mine came to me & asked if I could design a Valkyrie Angel & have the words "Choosers of the Slain" written on it. He said his unit was down & needed a way to raise their spirits a bit. The front of the shirts had each soldiers name & call sign on it. They were going to pay, but me & my wonderful friends said NO WAY!!! Everyone pitched in & help me with printing & shipping costs. I love the people in my life. They have huge hearts as do I..... They loved the shirts & I did my job to boost the morale of at least 1 Army Unit!

Thank You soooo much Corey! One day I need to go back to this one & darken in the surrounding edges. I want it to look as if she is heading into the light. She is alone on white paper because it was a tshirt design I made. I love working in charcoal the most. Im dying here to start another, its been a while. I got so busy rapped up in other projects. Again, Thank you so much!!!! Carla :)

Blackbirds Art
Another beautiful piece!
Carla Carson replied:
Thank you Blackbird. She made it on a bunch of tshirts I designed & sent over to Afghanistan for some troops! I was asked by a friend of mine who was a Sgt.stationed over there, to design something to help bring up their morale . This is what I came up with. It also had writing added to it. This was an exciting project, as I am humbled by our military. They are all true heroes!
