I'm honored to share a 3rd Place Win in the contest "Your First Art" This was my 1st drawing from High School, & a big change for my life. This drawing represents me & becoming me, & not who everyone wanted me to be. BIG meaning in this soft little drawing... Thank You all who voted, it means the world to me in many many ways... Carla :) Thank You :)

Thank You Alessandro.... :) I agree with you so much. I live here in the Arizona Desert. We often wonder how plants & flowers literally grow out of the rocks!!!??? They have a strong will to survive, & will make it no matter what! They don't give up regardless of situation or circumstances. They fight their way through! Yes like us! & our art! "We" Dance Alone".... Alessandro.... :)

You have a great portfolio! We have a proverb in Italy. I'll write firstly in italian and than I'll try to translate. "Il buon giorno si vede dal mattino"... literally.. "you can guess if a day is good from the beginning of it"..
Carla Carson replied:
I love that Alessandro! thank you for sharing that.. :) how true too. But I try to make the best of the worst situations. I am super optimistic & always looking at the bright side of things. Crying & feeling sorry for myself does nothing & no good. Those dark times produce dark drawings, & that is fine with me! Alessandro... thank you again, your so cool :)
Arthur Felty
